Yesterday on the blog our Design Team shared some ideas on how to use our 5 and 10 Things Pockets on a variety of projects.  There just happens to be a super cute 5 Things Pocket in the new Fern and Forest Boy collection, so I thought I would share an idea for how to use it with our canvas or burlap mini albums.  The pockets can be filled with the numbered cards that come with it, or you can add your own ideas like photos or other memorobilia. 

I decided to use the 5 Things Pocket numbered cards to make tabs for my mini ablum to make it easy to turn the pages.  I went with a very simple approach to this album and used the 6 x 6 paper pad for background papers and photo mats.

It's always fun to capture a favorite item of your child's.  My son loves these shoes, so it will be fun to remember when his feet were this little, because I am sure he won't be wearing these long and they are just the cutest.

I also wanted to add some very personalized journaling since most of the pages of the album are so simple.  This is actually the 12 x 12 Imagination Journal patterned paper, which I trimmed to fit the album.  Using the 12 x 12 paper made the lines a lot easier to write on.  I added some of the Favorite Pieces stickers to break up the writing and for more interest the page.

Welcome Our Fern and Forest Cycling Teams

We are so excited to announce our newest cycling teams for the Fern and Forest Girl and Boy collections.  These collections are our most adorable to date and we cannot wait to share some creative ideas starting in March.  But until then...please help us congratulate all of the talented designers who will be joining us for this crafty ride.

Introducing the Better Half of Fern and Forest... Well, You Decide

We've LOVED all of the comments about what our fans plan to do with our collections.  It's amazing to be part of such a creative community and your ideas are very important to us.  So, keep the ideas flowing today as you look at our next release...

When was the last time that you completely fell in love with a boy collection?  We've been listening to our fans and customers who want to see more gender specific collections and Fern and Forest Boy is the result of your feedback.  I personally think it is one of the CUTEST collections I have ever worked with, but you decide...
