It's a Naturals Evolution with Tim Holtz Ranger Ink - Day 3

 

 

It's Day 3 and we still have a lot more to show you this week and next.  Our "other" side of Little Yellow Bicycle is all about showcasing our Naturals collection and Clear Stamps with Tim Holtz inks, stains and paint from Ranger Ink.  Each day our design team shares a simple and clever way to include our Naturals and Stamps into their everyday lives and hope to inspire you to add some Naturals into your lives.  Plus there are prizes, see the fine print at the end...

Altered Printer's Tray by Suzanne Sergi

I love displaying small bit of inspiration around my workspace. Here I altered a white tray using the Just Because collection, and fun product by Ranger. I mixed in the flowers from the Naturals collection, and a bit of ink, using the Everyday clear stamp.

I used the Barn Door Distress Paint Dauber to stamp the word celebrate onto the 4x6 section of the tray. This was the first time to use the Black Archival ink, and I am absolutely in love with this stamp set. It was a perfect pairing for inking the word everyday, making it big, and bold.  I combined 4 of the stamps found on the Everyday Stamp set to stamp phrases into the middle small section of the tray to create a unique stamped image.

I also inked the natural flower with this same phrase to create a text backrground. I then layered the white natural mum on top. I did used the red found in the brights jute package to wrap around the tray. This created a whimiscal feel to the tray. I inked one of the leaves with a word from the same stamp set, and used it as a photo corner in the upper left hand corner of the tray. This now sits on a shelf to serve as inspiration everyday!!!
