We have been so excited to share Winterings Guest Designer Jill Cornell's projects each week. She has done a beautiful job of showing just how creative you can bee with our Winterings collection. Today she shares a fantastic set of cards. But, first let's get to know her a little
better with a few questions...
LYB: Are you a neat scrapbooker or is your space a mess?
JC: My space is almost always a mess. I have good intentions of keeping it clean but I create so frequently that it takes several projects completed before I give in and clean up.
LYB: Do you like to go to crops or prefer to scrap alone?
JC: I used to love going to crops for the social aspect but my preference would be scrapping alone. I tend to get more work done that way. Crops are more of a social hour. :)
LYB: What are your favorite types of projects—pages, mini albums, cards, altered projects, etc?
JC: I really like creating any of these but if I had to pick a favorite it would be layouts. I love creating pages especially about my daughters and my journaling is my love letter to them.
I love creating quick and easy cards to send to friends and family. The embellishments in this collection made it easy to do! For the "Winter Wishes" card, I layered die-cuts, chipboard and transparencies to create a winter scene. The "Brrr..." card is composed entirely of die-cuts, stickers and transparencies - not a scrap of patterned paper in sight.
