Winter Mini with Cycling Team Member Stacy Rodriguez

We are very pleased to introduce new Cycling Team Member Stacy Rodriguez. She used our brand new burlap mini album to preserve some wonderful winter memories, but let's have Stacy tell you all about it...

Hello everyone, Stacy here today sharing a super fun project with you that I created for the Winterings Cycling Team. I am a mini album girl, and I usually have about 2 or 3 that i'm working on at any given time. I was so excited when I open this box of goodies and saw the new 6x6 Canvas Covered Chipboard Album and I couldn't get the package opened fast enough. On the cover of the album I used tons of the embellishments with this line. The paper crafting kit for the rosettes, layered burlap stickers, chipboard shapes, and the clear cuts. I ran them all through my Xyron 510 machine and they stuck to the cover with no problem.

I used the fun journaling cards all through the album. I created pockets behind photos, and even behind the fun fan fold page.

Here is a photo for you of the fan fold opened. This fan fold is super easy to make. I took a piece of cardstock and cut it to 12" x 5". Score at 4 1/2" and 9". You can place the photos on both sides of the cardstock. I put a little adhesive on the ribbon and placed it on the back of the smaller 3" part of the cardstock. After that was across the back I placed adhesive only on the sides and bottom of that piece then placed it down on the page. By doing this it created the fun little pocket to place a photo and journaling card in.

I simply love the 5 Things Envelopes, they are perfect to put on all of the pages for an extra little place to journal and a cute way to embellish a page.
