Today our Biker Chicks Jen and Tania share some ideas on how to use both our Winterings collection and our 6x6 albums. It's the perfect time of year to capture those winter memories in one place and the smaller, easy to use, albums are a great way to get started...
Winterings Canvas Album by Biker Chick Jen Chesnick
Acrylic and mixed medium albums are a favorite of mine. Little Yellow Bicycles 6x6 paper pads make putting together their albums a snap. For the clear pages I used the vellum tape on one side to create the duplicate look on the other. Not only saving time, but supplies as well!

Winterings Burlap Album by Biker Chick Tania Willis
When creating a mini album, you can treat the pages as individuals or as a 6” x 12” spread. I love how the Paper Pad provides you with two sheets of each of the patterns giving you the ability to have a cohesive spread across two of the pages.
You see that here on the “you are wonderful” spread. I applied the same patterned paper torn from the Paper Pad to both pages, then added a photo left aligned. But, what really helps make this spread cohesive is the application of the Vellum Tape Strip applied to the edge of the photo and the far right edge of the right side of the spread. Layering embellishments across both pages to create a scene helps the eye to see both pages as a whole.
