Biker Chick Jen Chesnick has a really cool holiday project to share with you using one of our chipboard albums, but let's have Jen tell you all about it...
Hey Biker fans! Jen here today and I am going to run through my thought process behind making banners. To start most of my banners are 5 or 7 pennants. I try to keep the design of the 1, 3, & 5th banner somewhat the same and the 2nd & 4th banner the same. If you think of your banner in those increments it wont seem as daunting!
To start I create a good base. I layered the same pieces for the 1st and 5th banner. Frame, circle, snowflake. Use pop dots to get some good depth.
For the 3rd pennant I created a similar base just using different shapes. Once the bases were created I added a few layers until I liked it basically :] Then added "Joy"
For the 2nd & 4th pennant I did the exact same design just flipped for balance. I cut out the trees and used the paper crafting kit for the bows. They are SUPER simple and are amazing! I added "Jingle & " to the pennants to finish off the sentiment. I hooked everything together using d-rings and finished them off with coordinating ribbon by May Arts. I added a dash of glitter mist and we are all set.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope the banner inspires you to create your own!
