We think that Cycling Team Member Valerie Mangan has created a wonderful mini album to share today. She has some great ideas for preserving memories with our Makin' the Grade collection.
First Days of School Mini Album
This album features photos of my children on the first day of school. The album is divided by school year, starting with pre-school, up to 5th grade.
How to:
Embellish the cover of a 6 x 6 mini album.
Add fabric border sticker and black twill ribbon to album spine.
Fit 6 x 6 sheet of stitched patterned paper into front cover and add 'this book belongs to' die cut.
Using a variety of LYB coordinating items, embellish the divider pages of the mini album for pre-school through grade 5 (7 dividers all together).
Cut kraft cardstock to 5" wide x 5 1/2" high to make section pages. Punch holes and embellish with photos, stickers and die cuts.
How to:
Add a 3.75 x 6.75" piece of patterned paper to a 4 x 6 white cardstock base. Stitch perimeter. Attach report card journaling card to top edge, center. Using papercrafting kit, make green ribbon base, add cork apply with sentiment die cut on top. Secure with glue dots. Apply banners.
Please visit Valerie's blog Paper & Cookies for more details about her album and work.
Have a wonderful day!
