We are very happy to share another wonderful Escape project today from Cycling Team Member Kim Arnold. She sends us this amazing project all the way from Australia, but let's have Kim tell you all about it...
This is my second layout using the Escape range and I decided to show the flexibility of the range by creating a non-travel themed layout. I love the die-cut paper with its pre-printed bunting flags and it was just perfect for this layout of my son and godson pretending to be statues on an old plinth that we came across.
I also drew inspiration from the gorgeous spinner chipboard sticker. I followed a similar process to create this layout as with my first layout (Paris and Rome). When working with a range like Escape, with so many co-ordinating embellishments available, it is easy to create clusters of interesting embellishments to balance out the photo cluster. I really like the recent trend of washi tape, and used the vellum strips to create my own “washi tape”. The strips tore easily and worked perfectly.
Please visit Kim's blog Time with Us to see more of her inspiring work. Tomorrow we will have more Makin' the Grade project ideas from our Biker Chicks.
Happy Tuesday!
Liz
