We have one more fantastic project to share from The Escape guest designer Kathy Martin. We have been so please with all of her fantastic ideas and today is no exception.
LYB: Do you have a favorite die cutting system?
KM: I can’t pick just one! I have the Silhouette, Wizzard, Big Shot, the old Sizzix and Quickutz squeeze. I’ve used all of them within the past couple days so it’s really hard to pick a favorite. I think I use my Wizzard more.
LYB: Computer or handwritten journaling?
KM: Without question, computer journaling! I suffer ‘stage’ fright if I try to write on my pages. I always goof up.
LYB: What’s the oddest embellishment you’ve ever used on a page?
KM: Sand. I created a beach page using sand. And a few tiny shells.
Kathy used some of the most adorable elements of The Escape collection to create this super cute card. the buildings in the background are perfect for the sentiment. And...the stitching is absolutely perfect and gives the card a homemade element.
Kathy included the Flag Kit and the some Clear Cut Shapes on this creative card. We love how the sentiment from the Tear Out Ticket takes center stage.
Please visit Kathy's blog Card Blanc for more of her fabulous ideas.
Don't forget we are looking for cycling team members for our Makin' the Grade collection. See post with details HERE. Have a wonderful and crafty weekend!

These are both awesome cards, Kathy. I love the layered banner and hexagons on the first one and how you layered up the ticket and used the diecut PP on the second.
