Make a Splash like Cycling Team Member Lisa Swift

We have some more inspiration from Cycling Team Member Lisa Swift. She has a couple of projects to share with our Splash collection, but let's have her tell you all about them...

Hi everyone! Lisa here today to share a card I made with the new Splash collection. This is such a great collection in terms of color and fun summer/beach designs. We're talking cute fish paper, water droplet shaped jewels (cute, cute, cute), swim gear, flip flops (!) and even a crab transparency. How can you not love these options? :)

I have a tip for you on how to get more mileage out of the Fresh Verse quote stickers. The summertime saying (as shown on my card) is printed twice on the sticker strip but I only wanted to use it once. I cut one repetition from the sticker sheet and then cut the saying into strips sized to fit my project. It's as easy as that. Now I can use the second part of the sticker on another project. Another thing I did was to back the "S" on the tag with a coordinating paper rather than have the white of the background paper show through. It adds more interest to the card and brings in a pattern that appears in the background paper.

Oh, and one last thing...please don't blame me if you can't get the song (Summertime and the Livin' is Easy) out of your head. I was humming it the entire time I was making this card. :)
