We are so pleased to share some wonderful projects from our newest Hello Spring! cycling team member Juliana Michaels. She was able to get a lot of mileage out of this collection, but let's have Juliana tell you all about it...
Working with the Hello Spring collection was an absolute joy for me! The projects seemed to just "grow" on their own due to the bright, cheerful colors and designs of each piece included in this collection. And the fabulous embellishments seemed to find their place with ease on each project!
For my first layout, entitled Hello Spring, I took one of the Clear Cut frames and trimmed it to create a larger frame for my photo. I also enjoyed mixing the Clear Cut Shapes and Chipboard Shapes to provide a bit of dimension. On several of my layouts I used the Tear-out Ticket & Journaling Book for my journaling. I am in love with these!!!
My next layout, Happy, was a real joy thanks to these adorable photos of my niece! I again used a mix of the Clear Cut Shapes and Chipboard Shapes to embellish my layout. I dressed up the large chipboard butterfly by giving her antenna created using the Hello Spring Stick Pins.
This collection has some adorable embellishments just begging to be used on an Easter layout and that is exactly what I did. I created a 2 page layout, Happy Easter, about dying Easter eggs with my family this year. The Chipboard Shapes and Fabric Favorites included some adorable bunnies and eggs that were perfect! I cut off the top and bottom of the "A Perfect Moment" Ticket from the Tear-out Ticket & Journaling Book. I then adhered the lined paper part inside the pink frame form the Chipboard Shapes to create my journaling space.
For my final layout, Celebrate, I knew I had to play with the Paper Flower Kit! I mean...how cool are these?! Tons and tons of paper flowers that you can mix and match and create your own design! I choose to lightly mist each one, crinkle it and then let it dry (with the help of my heat gun!) to give them a distressed look. I also distressed the scallop edge of the Decorative Edge paper as well. Other than using a piece of the 6 x 6 Decorative Edge Paper and the 12 x 12 Decorative Edge Paper, I didn't use any other paper on this layout!
My last project is a birthday card. When I saw this cute little chipboard bunny with music notes on his belly it just said "Hoppy" Birthday to me! The Fresh Verse Cardstock Stickers come with an adorable alphabet, but I needed 2 P's for my title, so I created one. I used a white gel pen to change the R sticker into another P!

Have a crafty day!
