We are happy to share a project with our Hello Spring collection from Biker Chick Vicki Boutin. She has some fun ideas for our fans...but let's have Vicki tell you all about it...
Hey Folks! It’s my turn to bring a Hello Spring project to you and I decided to focus on the Clear Cuts for this line! I love the mix of butterflies and birds in Hello Spring so I added them to a super quick layout of my little girl.
Layer three pattern to create the base of the page. Cut the top strip of the Garden Rows paper at the bottom of the page. (Ever notice how the LYB designs always have a few papers that have awesome layered elements that take all of the guess work out making a quick layout?! Love the Garden Rows paper for this and the Blossom Breeze paper for this exact reason!!!)
Add two mats and a Tear Out Ticket to the page.
Select and position the Clear Cut shapes on the layout. Here is my TIP: sew the Clear Cuts on the page to secure them! I often find I am looking for a solution other than adhesive for clear embellishments…this is one of them! Add the “spring” chipboard title, “sweet” ticket and bling!
Here is a closer look at the stitching.
And another one. I really like how layering the “hello” Clear Cut over the “hello” on the paper turned out!
