Biker Chick Greta Hammond has some really beautiful projects to share with our Saturdays collection and she even shared a tip from Biker Chick Vicki Boutin's new book Creative Foundations, but let's have Greta tell you all about it...

Hey everyone....just stopping in today with a couple of projects using the lovely Saturdays line and more specifically the Saturdays paper flower kit! These paper flowers are so fun and so versatile to use. The combinations are endless!
This first project is a layout I did for the CHA Trade show last month to showcase those beautiful flowers from the kit.
I did a lot of layering, inking, pop dotting (I just made that up!) as well as adding a few touches of pearls to give the page a little dressed up feel.
My favorite part of the page is the lower left corner where I tucked a layered white daisy underneath the photo to give the illusions that the flowers flow behind the photo and all the way up the page!
Next, I created this card for my fellow Biker Chick Vicki Boutin’s blog. I used a fun technique from her new book, Creative Foundations, on these blue flowers from the Saturdays Paper Flower Kit. For each flower, I used three of the blue flowers in the kit. Mist them slightly with water, carefully crumple them up, and then form them.
I started with the bottom flower and sort of made it a wider base. Once formed, I heat set it and moved on to the next flower, formed it, heat set it and layered it inside the first flower. Same thing with the third flower which gives you a nice full flower! So fun! And the Paper Crafting Kit makes this so easy!
Little Yellow Bicycle offers a variation of this paper flower kit in all their new releases so make sure and check it out!
