We are so happy to share some more projects from our Paradise Guest Designer Izzy Anderson. She has a few cards to show and we have some more fun facts about her.

LYB: Computer or handwritten journaling?
IA: I prefer to handwrite my journaling because I think it personalizes the page and gives the layout a cozier feel. But if I have a lot to say, I type it.
LYB: Do you like to go to crops or prefer to scrap alone?
IA: If I need to get things done, I prefer to scrap alone so I can work more quickly and concentrate. But I love the inspiration, ideas and camaraderie of scrapping with friends and at crops.
LYB:Sit down or stand up scrapbooker?
IA: Up and down and up and down!
Hi, it’s Izzy and I’m so happy to be back today with another project with the beautiful Paradise line. I just can’t get enough of this collection. I love all the pretty patterns and colors - so versatile. You might not look at this collection and think, “Valentine’s Day," but doesn’t a getaway to Paradise make you think of love? To me, these papers were perfect for Valentines, especially for more masculine cards.
First up is: Plaid About You.
I’m just mad for plaid, especially for the warm brown, teal, olive and cream in this line. It’s the perfect backdrop for a card for any occasion. Since I was making a Valentine, I paired the plaid with a pop of hot pink from the Magenta Morning patterned paper. I stitched the two together and attached the front panel to a dark chocolate cardstock base.
I used a tear-out ticket as the spot for my sentiment, adding a decorative chipboard element above and below. To finish the card, I added alphas then a cute fabric bird and tiny heart.
Next is: You Are The One
This teal and olive striped paper is my favorite of the collection. I just love the way it pops against the hot pink.
For the sentiment, I used alphas on a Tear Out Ticket, as I did on the first card. I hand-cut a heart from the Magenta Morning patterned paper then used one of the 5 Things Envelopes to complete the sentiment. These envelopes are so adorable. They each have a tiny ledger inside to write a little love note, if desired. The perfect touch for a Valentine, don’t you think?
