We are very excited to share more Wonder & Wishes projects with Cycling Team Member Audrey Yeager. Audrey has some wonderful page and card ideas along with some special gift warpping tips (great idea for our canvas tape and mini pom poms). But, let's have Audrey tell you all about it...
Hello! My name is Audrey Yeager and I am THRILLED to be sharing some projects with you from the Wonder & Wishes line! When I received all the wonderful goodies that go along with this collection, I kept asking myself, “OK, do I want to do a photo of the tree? Stockings? The kids with Santa? Our Christmas Villiage?” Truth is, this line is so versatile that you can scrap any holiday tradition with it.
My dad just visited recently and brought along some old family photos (by request, of course), so I decided to use some of the old Christmas ones that he had.
Another old photo for my 2nd page, too. Not quite sure about the date but probably around 1950. I splattered some white paint on the kraft paper and added some machine stitching here and there.
The bright green corrugated cardboard elements add such great contrast against the deep red. Here is a quick and simple card.
The Stockings Were Hung Cardstock: Bazzill Patterned Papers: Home For Christmas, Little Red Hot Dot Chipboard Shapes Corrugated Alphas Twine Spools Cardstock Stickers
Merry Christmas Card Confetti Garland Clear Stickers Cardstock: Bazzill
Joy Card Patterned Paper-Red Flourish Corrugated Shapes Paper Flower Kit
Gift Box Mini Pom-Poms & Twine Canvas Tape
Thank you Audrey for sharing your wonderful creations with Little Yellow Bicycle and all of our readers. I know I have some ideas for how to make my badly wrapped packages just a little bit nicer.
Please visit Audrey's blog Audrey's Creations for more of her inspiring projects.
We will be back later this week with another project from Guest Designer Cindy Tobey and a NEW collection release with projects from the Biker Chicks AND a special announcement - stay tuned!
Have a wonderful day!
