So much excitement for National Scrapbook Day! So many people were so creative. What a great excuse to take a little time for yourself and soak up all the inspiration. I couldn't believe how many great classes, challenges, and tutorials were available - and most of them for free! I hope many of you took advantage of the Big Picture Classes All-Day Crop and Challenge (and giveaways!)!
And now to follow it up ... Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there!
We have TWO special Mother's Day treats for you! First, our very own Sharon Kropp (who is a mother of four herself) was asked to be a guest blogger for Creating Keepsakes' blog today! Sharon made a beautiful layout to share for Mother's Day...and we thought it would be fun to do a little giveaway with Creating Keepsakes! So we put together a big goodie bag, filled with "Mom's Favorites" -- papers and embellishments from some of your favorite collections: Savor, Fresh Print Clothesline and Elizabeth Park (the collection Sharon used for her Mother's Day layout)! It looks a little something like this:
The prize, silly, not the layout (you have to go over to the CK blog to see that!) What a lovely Mother's Day gift for YOU!
And then we thought ... well why let Creating Keepsakes have all the fun? So we decided to give one away too!
So here's how you can win. FIRST, follow the link to hop over to Sharon's blog post at Creating Keepsakes, and follow the instructions for a chance to win. SECOND, leave a comment on THIS blog (or our Facebook page), telling us either (1) Why you love being a mom, or (2) One thing you love about your own mom [or both, if you wish ;) of course].
CK will pick one winner, and we'll pick the other. And don't forget there's still time to enter our National Scrapbook Day giveway by leaving a comment on yesterday's blog!
Winners will be announced Monday! Plus on Monday we'll be back with an all-new Training Reel featuring Biker Chick Liz Qualman and the Tiny Princess collection! The fun and creativity just keeps coming!
Finally, we wish you a very happy, restful, and creative Mother's Day!
I admire my mom's creativity in home decorating...unfortunately, she's passed on now and I'm not nearly as talented as she was.

I love being a mom because you not only get to help shape a beautiful little person, but you get to experience unconditional love every day. Obviously, I might not love it so much if I didn't have an excellent role model in my own mother. It's definitely a cycle.

I love being a mom because it is the most rewarding thing in the world. Knowing that I am shaping 7 little people into 7 beatiful adults is awesome...and daunting...but it is also God given.

I had a fun day yesterday with a few friends playing with paper. The thing I love about my mom is that she knows what she likes and she goes and does it. I have all of these fears about succeeding. She is a good example, and she was super-mom when I was growing up. I don't know how she did it all. She definitely amazes me. Anyway, thanks for the chance to win the fabulous bag of goodies!
