My most clever tip are my plastic jars. These are approx. 8 cm high with a screw lid. With glue I placed a strong magnet on top of the lid. On a great magnetic bord on my wall I hang all the plastic jars.
Because the are transparent
I can see what is inside.
I keep buttons, big brads and many other small scrap supplies in the jars. I take the jar off the magnetic bord whenever I need one. It works perfectly.
I am however very curious about the special issue, to see other creative solutions.
Greetings from Sabine (Holland)

I like to keep my rubber stamps in 12" x 9" x 1.5" clear plastic storage cases by theme (hearts, Xmas, words, etc.). I use P-Touch labeling strips, which I attach to the outside of each case . . . and stack them high inside the closet in my craft room.

I use the jumbo sized (2.5 gallon) Glad zipper bags to organize all of my scrapbook paper and embelishments by collection. I put them in square canvas boxes so I can flip through them easily to find the perfect paper for my layout.

I would love to win this issue--I am about to move and I'm already imagining what my space wan/will look like. I think my best tip is to buy binder envelopes (I found clear ones at Grand & Toy) to sort small scraps of paper in by colour. So I now have two binders--one for coloured scraps, and one for neutrals. I also included one envelop for patterned paper (that doesn't feature just one color).

Nothing really clever that hasn't been done before--I use cassette holders to hold my ink pads. An idea I just read about was turning a poker chip holder into a marker holder.

This most genius thing that I've heard or seen for organizing... What using a old-school fan cover and a lamp stand as a clip up embellishment holder. I am thinking of making one this summer!

What alot of great ideas. I am in the process of turning my office into a craft room. I started with two sets of wire shelves, so everything is out where i can see it. In between the two shelving units, I am going to put wire wrapped around nails across the wall and use clothes pins to hangs pictures, card and layouts that I can't bear to put away yet.

I like to use antique sewing machine drawers stacked as shelves in my scrapping area. Currently there are ink pads and re-inkers in them.

Small scraps such as ribbon pieces can be attached to a paperclip AND paperclips can be attached to each other...making a perfect chain to hang as an organization piece!

I keep all my alpha letters in a square basket, by color. It makes it easier for me to go right to the color I'm looking for.

I have finally organized my ribbon where I can find what I want....wrapped on storage cards in individual plastic containers by color, with specialty ribbons like holidays, birthday, USA/4th of July etc. in separate containers. Now I can find what I want quickly, and they stack easily!

My best storage idea came from the clear, see-through containers cookies came in from Sam's. They house my flowers and my ribbons - all stored by colors. Yes, we eat a lot of cookies in this house!
Can't wait to get my hands on that magazine!

CONGRATULATIONS!! My best organizational tool is my over the door shoe holders with clear pockets for my punches. I have one on each side - I am going to need more doors!

I think that the most important thing about keeping organized is that after you have completed your project you need to CLEAN and put everything back where it belongs...which...for me is sometimes hard to do because I want to jump right into my next layout !!!

I store all of my punches in a shoe organizer that hangs over the closet door.

Antique mason jars, the older the better with bubbles in the blue green glass, to store smaller items. Floss caddies to organize letters. One plastic compartment box for odd tags, envies, I find in antique stores, and such, which I love to use on projects. One large box with compartments to store all supplies for making cards. Ribbon stored in 3x4 plastic bags, on quilter rings, by color. Stored in a LARGER suitcase style canvas bag. Looking forward to getting your book!

I keep all my theme materials in either a 12 x 12 plastic organizer or small folder. Makes life so much easier to just grab and look through.

Looks like a fun magazine! I love to organize my scrap supplies -- that's half the fun of buying them! My latest organizing project was putting my acrylic and cling stamps into 14 different 7x9 binders by category -- flowers, travel, etc.

I can't wait to see this magazine! I need some ideas! My craft supplies have taken over my dining room. I have several of the JETMAX storage pieces, and some rolling carts from Staples. My punches are in baskets. Really need more ideas...thanks for the chance!

While I have Jetmax storage cubes set up, I do most of my crafting at craft groups / crops, so I need things to be portable as well. I keep supplies in gallon size clear Ziploc bags, so when I'm crafting at home, I can just pull out what I need out of that drawer, but when I hit the road, I can grab the whole bag to take with and it keeps everything organized.
Also - rather than paying for a rolling storage tote, I took an old piece of luggage on wheels - I can store my Cuttlebug, plus tons of stamps, papers, and supplies in there easily.

Wow, congrats on having your creative space in this publication!
To organize my out of control stamp collection, I made an index of all my stamps by category. It took a while to set up, but has saved me so much time when I want to find a stamp and see what I have.

I don't have a designated scrap area so I use common elements of my decor as storage... I have an upright drawer cabinet in my dining room stocked with supplies, a stack of 3 wicker baskets cleverly disguises the storage of my stash and ceramic bowls on my decorative shelving in the kitchen is a perfect cache. -Alisa (alisalogue@charter.net)

NO WAY! I have that same bicycle on my new desk in my new computer room!! Where did you get yours?
Anyway, I have a rotating organizer that I bought from a going out of business sale (scrapbooking store), and it's wonderful! It makes it easy to see smallish things.

I have most of my supplies in clear labeled containers so that I can find what I need in a quick glance.I also have what I use most often within reach so that I don't need to get out of my chair.
I would love to look through this book. I find other peoples crafting spaces both interesting & inspiring.

Love that little peek into your space. Looks like a terrific issue. Thanks for the chance to win. My tip is to use non-traditional scrapbook storage such as baskets. They make the room feel so much more homey.

Love love love checking out other people's organization and scrap areas. There are so many great ideas out there! Lord knows you can go wild with product - both actual scrap supplies and organizational item, but being on a budget forces you to be creative. I love looking for organizational items at places like Lowes & Home Depot. You can find hardware drawers for embellishments at very reasonal prices. Baskets, pails, industrial shelving you can hang accessories from are great too!

I try to keep my embellishments by color. Thanks for the chance to win a copy of the book.

I have boxes that are altered to hold my scrap supplies, jars for buttons, a spinning ink/stickles/reinker/ribbon holder but I love that I can use my rolling scrap bag to hold most of my pp and cs. Its always in there and I don't have to pack it for crops.
