We were thrilled when Michelle Lanning agreed to be our Guest Designer for the Elizabeth Park Collection this month! We absolutely loved the work she did with our Cupcake Love Collection on the Glue Arts blog a few weeks ago and asked if she would like to play in Elizabeth Park. Lucky for us (and you!) she said yes! Yipee!
So we shipped that collection right out to her and we just can't wait to share her inspiring projects with you over the next couple of weeks! In addition to being a "Glue Girl," Michelle is on a few *ahem* other design teams ;) and her work is often published in Scrapbook Trends and Cards magazines, among others. You can follow Michelle's blog here.
So come back soon for more from Michelle, and watch for Elizabeth Park at your LSS in the middle of March!
For now, here's a little more about Michelle (and be sure to read all the way to the bottom for a sneak peek of her first project!!)
Hi there, my name is Michelle Lanning and I am thrilled to be here guest designing for Little Yellow Bicycle. I have been a fan for so long and am thrilled to be here this month. I am a single momma of one vivacious 6 year old. She is the reason I started scrapping over 6 years ago, and she is also what keeps me flooded with photos. When I am not creating, I am an elementary school teacher to some very energized students. When I am not scrapping you can find me taking photos, reading, or sewing. I have been lucky enough to work for some awesome companies in the industry and have met many great friends along the way. There is nothing better than ending a hard day of work and being a momma by scrapping the evening away. It is my pleasure to do that with some gorgeous LYB products!
And finally, a little Q&A with Michelle!
LYB: What is your "go to" embellihsment?
Michelle: I would say journaling spots/tags. Is that even an embellishment? Hee.
LYB: Cardstock or patterned paper?
Michelle: Patterned paper!
LYB: What kind of music gets you in the scrappin' mood?
Michelle: I don't really scrap to music, but love listening to a movie while scrapping.
LYB: Crops or scrap alone?
Michelle: I love the social aspect of crops, but I prefer to scrap where I can access all my goodies!
LYB: Favorite types of projects - pages, mini albums, cards, altered projects, etc.?
Michelle: Layouts are my all-time favorite.
LYB: Favorite scrapbooking snack?
Michelle: Peanut butter M&Ms, yumm!
And finally that sneak peak:
Oooooh! Can't wait!!!
congrats girlie! Can't wait to see your stuffs.
