Finally, a little info on crafting for a cause. Check out Operation Write Home - a great organization where you can donate handmade cards for our troops overseas to send home. There are some requirements (such as no glitter - which can make soldiers visible at night), size recommendations, etc., so check out the site before you pull out your papers and embellishments!

Thank You for the operation "Write Home". I made 27 cards with extra scrapbook supplies and mailed them in a flat rate box for $4.95. What a good feeling to know I am supporting our troops in such a positive way while I use up extra supplies. Thanks again. My grandmother has been gone for 40 years and everyday I miss her. I thank God for such a wonderful influence in my life.
