These last couple of weeks have been so much fun! We've had a great response with the Generation Z Contest. As you'll soon see, the product line offers a variety of directions and interpretations. Simple, Random, Collage. Girl, Boy...you name it. This product works! The metallic ink on the papers and embellishments offer a great finishing touch and something a little bit different.
Let's jump right in. I've got some really cool projects to share with you.
And yes, it's time to announce the Winners!
First prize-$250.00 in LYB product. Have fun shopping Ellen!
LIVE
I love what Ellen did with this star. I wish I could zoom in.This page really shows how versatile the Gen Z line is to work with. Even toddlers look cool and on trend when they are all outfitted with Gen Z.
Here is another really great project from Ellen. Her page won first place, but I just have to show you this really great album that Ellen entered as well.......Lot's of layering and great use of product. There is a lot of cool detail in this album. Check it out. Notice how she worked with the acetate papers. It's easy to love this album. It's easy to love the little wrestler in the album! Nice job, Ellen.
Second Place Winner-Kim Hurst.
Kim made this simple yet totally cool album to celebrate her son's Senior Year in High School. I like Kim's approach to this album. She didn't overload her album with embellishments. She really focused on great photos and allowed for a fun combination of pattern and color. Enlarging the photos to the same size as the actual album pages is such a great. feature. Here are a few fun photos from her album.
.
Cool, huh? I want to make an album like this for my son. It looks like I could pull this off in an evening.
Kim lives in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Kim gets a $100.00 shopping spree of LYB product.
And, here is our third place winner... For all of you card makers...announcing Sarah Schatz from Jamestown, ND. Sarah did a great job with these cards. These cards really rock! They are so relevant to a teen's world.
Why not send a card to your favorite teenager?
Sarah will receive $50.00 in Little Yellow Bicycle product
Don't you just love this line? Be sure to check it out at your favorite LSS.

.I bought this IWC Watch for my husband for our anniversary. He loves it! It is a very classic design and is great for casual or business attire.
3.Great looking IWC Watch I gave as a xmas gift. Black face almost looks brownish. Nice big face and thick band. Wanted to keep for myslelf.
4.Very Nice IWC Watch, bought for my husband,. The only problem is that I need to get it sized to his wrist, not really sure if I can buy something to do this or what.. Any suggestions..
5.My boyfriend is set to finish law school soon and I wanted a Burberry Watch that reflected his upcoming transition into the "adult" world. It is beautiful, has a great weight to it and the dial face is great to look at!
6.Bought this for my husband as a Christmas present. I ended up giving it to him early because he had a very important business trip, and I wanted him to look his best. He absolutely loved it! He loves the large face, and the weight of the Burberry Watch. It looks so classy and sophisticated. It added the perfect frosting on my already gorgeous husband!

Wow - great work ladies, and congrats! I just love your mini album, Ellen, but that layout just jumped out at me. I want a 3D IMAX monitor. LOL! Fantastic title design as well.

Congratulations! It is hard to pick one thing because these projects are so clever. I guess my favorite is the different uses of the gears die cut paper. The leftover pieces look great on the cards.

Congrats to ALL the winning entries, they all RAWK! It was SO thrilling to see a gal from Willow Traders as one of the winners.... Kim's mini album using these ultra awesome boyish papers really hit close to home for me since my son is in the 10th grade. He thinks that anything that has to do with Scrapbooking is poison BUT I betcha that even he would think that mini album was "kewl" even for a dude!!! BTW.... I fall more in love with Little Yellow Bicycle with each and every release!

Congratulations to all the winners. I love the altered albums, this is one of my favorite things that I like to do. The sewing is a beautiful touch to the layout by Ellen. I love when you can sew on your pages and cards. Great job ladies. I have a layout on my blog using the Gen Z line I thought it turned out cute though my photos were a little to be desired LOL. http://pammejo-scrapbookflair.blogspot.com/

These are so cool, I love how this line is so versatile yet perfect for teens. It is so hard to create teen boy pages and this line makes it simple.

Congrats to the winners. I loved how the wrestling album had ribbon stapled to the inside edge of the pages rather than tied to the rings. Great idea.

LOVE all the projects! I like how Ellen distressed the edges and adding stitching to her layout. I also like all the details added to the mini albums. And love Sarah showed how versatale this line can be by making cards.

Everything is wonderful !!! I have been scrapping for years and teaching and I get scrap burn-out trying to come up with layouts for my girls..so I really enjoyed looking at these layouts...and what did I notice ??? the staple ... I love staples on a layout and I have never used a staple the way that Ellen used a staple on her 1st place winning entry.....and I love the layering of the star embellishment ....I very seldom use pre-made embellishments ... I like the creativity of making up my own ... so I will be 'lifting' Ellen's !!! Go Ellen !!!!!!

Wow! What inspiration to get to work!
Kim Hurst has really motivated me to make a mini album for my son who's about to turn 13. It's so cool, I don't think he'd mind if his soccer buddies took a look.
Great job by everyone!
