I think you will adore this collection...it feels sort of comfortable.. I hope my interpretation of vintage makes you think of bright and happy things. Fresh Print Clothesline was mainly inspired by the insides of my grandmother's cupboards. They were stocked with Fiestaware dishes. Fiestaware was unique: it was casual, colorful and affordable, and it brightened up the kitchen of a growing middle class. Each piece was lovely and purposed. I remember the original green, the old yellow, the red, the cobalt blue and the turquoise bowls.. they were made to be mixed and matched. My sisters and I all have a few of her dishes and have reclaimed and repurposed them.
I don't have a complete set...it doesn't really matter to me. I am happy to have the few pieces that once belonged in my grandmother's cupboard. The little measuring cups are from Anthropologie. Love these cups. Check out the colors in the Fiestaware...notice the ponderous grey.
I love finding old and unloved
things and turning them into something
beautiful. Pretty flowers, buttons, stick pins and other
embellishments are just some of the vintage inspired goodies that you
will find in the Clothesline collection. Each piece is ready to be
snipped apart and used in scrapbooking, paper crafting or sewing
projects.
Is this album cool or what? It is a mixed media album...chipboard
and acrylic pages that are decorative edged. There is even a matching
paper tablet in the collection...that is perfectly sized to fit the
album...even comes with a sticker sheet.
Greta taught this album at Pages in Time Forever. They had a grand opening weekend and Greta did signings for her new book. Above is an image from her class...
Here is a happy student with a happy album.
This is all for today...The sprinkling of soft textures will simply delight you! Enjoy Fresh Print Clothesline. And remember to tell your grandmother that you love her....

I really like the vintage clothes line collection. It takes me way back and I can still smell the sheets after they were dried on the clothesline. There is nothing better

Oh how lovely! I love the vintage feel! It takes me back to my Grandmother's house. Good memories! She passed away 13 years ago. I miss her everyday but this brings a smile to my face.
