Lisa Swift

Lisa is a New England transplant now living in upstate New York with her husband, Tom and middle schooler, Alexa. Oh, and let's not forget sweet Butterscotch, the cat, who also appears as the subject of some of her pages. She's been paper crafting since 2001 when she was presented with an empty 12x12 album as a baby gift. After staring at it for six months, she decided it was time to figure out what all of the hoopla about scrapbooking was about. It took only one class at a local scrapbooking store and she was hooked!

Lisa describes her current style as clustered, layered, and stitched. She loves mixing and matching bits and pieces to create embellishment clusters on her pages and it's a rare page that doesn't feature some kind of stitching whether it be by hand or machine. Layering is considered to be part of her "signature" style. While scrapbooking is her first love, she also enjoys making cards and the occasional altered project. When she's not scrapbooking or chauffeuring her daughter around, she can be found puttering in the garden, reading a book, cooking up a new recipe, or taking photos that will later be committed to paper for all time.

Lisa is a previous member of our Hello Spring and Splash Cycling Teams. She's also a regular contributor to Scrapbooking & Beyond and Scrapbooking.com magazines and has enjoyed seeing her work published in Scrapbook Trends, CARDS, and Create as well as in online publications like Scrap 'n Art.
