We are so pleased to feature a fun wedding project from another of our new Biker Chicks, Jenny Chesnick. She is going to give you some great ideas with our Swoon collection, but let's have her tell you all about it...
Hi everyone Jen here with you today featuring the new Swoon collection! It seems our wedding photos are always the last to be scrapped. I've been married for five years and have still not put them on paper! So in an effort to further avoid that I decided to make a gift for my friend Rachael and her husband JR who were married last year. I had three very inexpensive canvases sitting in my altered bin and decided to go with a nice wall piece for them.
Each canvas is 8x8 so that made things easy for me! I chose to look at each canvas as its own layout keeping in mind they all needed to go together. I used the 6x6 decorative edge paper to be the base of each canvas. On the left and right canvas I decided to keep the basic layout of each the same and kept the embellishing to the sides of each canvas to anchor them. For the middle canvas I kept the embellishing to the center to create the basic focal point.
A couple tips when working with altered items. To attach my paper to canvas I used a high tac liquid craft glue. Hot glue will warp your paper so keep that in mind! Once you have your base paper attached you should be good to go with normal adhesive.
